The Consumer electronics show (CES) 2018 has ruined yesterday. There were not any foldable phones exposed at the largest tech show as whispered in advance. And the Samsung’s beast Galaxy S9 also wasn’t unveiled at the event; it is now set to launch next month at MWC. Though CES is not particularly regarded as the event for smart devices launches as its range is widespread to different electronic gadgets, from drones to robots to autonomous vehicles, yet the event had copiousness of news on smart devices and their accessories.

The mobile phone launches and announcements are typically allied with Mobile World Congress (MWC), yet this year’s CES revealed several fascinating announcements of different smart devices. Let’s start with the announcement of most exciting technologies.

Vivo moved a step ahead by announcing the first smart device with an under-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is set for mass productions and will go on sale in upcoming months.

Powermat introduced demoed technology that will double the speed of wireless charging of smart device.

Razer announced its scheme Linda which turns its smart device into a laptop.

The famed jagged phone maker CAT has unveiled its CAT S41 which has an huge battery that can even charge other phones.

Moto announced a new addition to its Mods a keyboard connection that can be incorporated with its Moto Z and Z2 phones.

In the meantime, the famed Japanese producer Sony announced its camera-centric smart devices Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and L2 for selfie lovers.

Asus ZenFone presented its Max Plus which has a huge battery and a low price. Whereas, new colors for Huawei Honor 7X, LG V30, and Blackberry KeyOne were announced.

Additionally, the important news from the smart phone business at CES also points out that Huawei has lost AT&T and Verizon backing. This means that the third largest smart phone manufacturer will not be able to reach masses through carrier plans. However, the phones will be able in unlocked versions.

Samsung’s rival LG is going to refurbish its G-series but we are not sure about what’s going to happen. One Plus will soon be able to get deal with a US carrier, which will get bigger the reach of Chinese manufacturer in the US.

These were the major news and announcements of smart phones revealed at CES, while there were other gadgets at CES which stole the show completely.
