F5 Oppo launched front camera with 20MP fake aptitude
The F5 Oppo is now up for pre-orders in Philippines and comes in two RAM and storage variants. The 4GB RAM and 32GB storage Oppo F5 has been priced at PHP 15,990 (roughly Rs. 20,000) and comes in Gold and Black colours. Another 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant has been announced in Red colour though the pricing has not been announced so far. We can expect it to be revealed next week when the handset goes on sale in Philippines.
One of the major places of interest being marketed a great deal by the company is the AI-enabled beauty technology that comes incorporated in the front camera. The company says, “With more than 200 positioning spots, the F5 accentuates your facial landmarks and contours to augment the proportion between features like your eyes, nose, cheekbones and jawline to create the entirely superior and natural selfie. Its beauty-iris tool ensures that your eyes will shine brighter in any photo.” The front camera is claimed to recognise if there’s a background light or can add luminance to portrait for better selfies. The front camera is also capable of clicking shots with a Bokeh effect.
Starting with front camera, Oppo F5 sports a 20-megapixel sensor at the front which comes with f/2.0 aperture. At the back is a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash. The Oppo F5 features a 6-inch TFT display with full-HD+ screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. The handset supports dual Nano-SIM cards and packs a separate microSD card slot. The Oppo F5 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek (MT6763T) processor coupled with 4GB/ 6GB RAM. It supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 256GB). The handset runs on the company’s ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. It measures 156.5x76x7.5mm and weighs in at 152 grams. It is backed by a 3200mAh battery. Connectivity options include GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and USB OTG support.
