Change Your Diet To Avoid Skin Problems
Foods good for skin:
The skin is the largest organ of the body, with a total area of about 20 square feet. The skin protects us from microbes and the elements, helps regulate body temperature, and permits the sensations of touch, heat, and cold.
Skin has three layers:
- The epidermis, the outermost layer of skin, provides a waterproof barrier and creates our skin tone.
- The dermis, beneath the epidermis, contains tough connective tissue, hair follicles, and sweat glands.
- The deeper subcutaneous tissue (hypodermis) is made of fat and connective tissue.
The skin’s color is created by special cells called melanocytes, which produce the pigment melanin. Melanocytes are located in the epidermis.
Ladies face various skin problems like acne, Rash, Wrinkles etc. If you want to avoid these problem so, please change your eating habbit. Its very important for you.
1. Acne and redness
Food: cow’s milk and dairy products.
Why: Cow’s milk contains hormones that help baby cows grow, but people have micro-inflammation on the skin after drinking it. This is not only true for lactose-intolerant people: these hormones can have a negative influence on anyone. Scientists have been researching this issue for a long time and they think that cow’s milk hormones conflict with human hormones.
How to help: If you’ve ever had acne or such inflammation before, get checked for allergies. If you’re sure that you’re not allergic, try to reduce the amount of milk you consume and include more iodine-rich foods like seafood and fish oil. They resist the inflammation process.
2. Swelling, bad elasticity, and a dull complexion
Food: a huge amount of animal protein.
Why: It’s all about the change of the pH levels in the blood. The acidity changes when protein breaks down. Additionally, the metabolism, production of ferments and hormones are all slowed down. So is skin regeneration.
How to help: Soy, cucumbers, avocado, broccoli, and chicory all increase the level of alkali in the body.
3. Dehydration and skin dryness
Food: coffee and tea.
Why: When we drink tea or coffee, we perceive them as a liquid, so we drink less pure water. Tea and coffee are both diuretics, so our bodies are tricked into having a correct water balance, when in fact, we aren’t getting enough water.
How to help: First and foremost, drink water! The rule: 2 glasses of water for 1 cup of coffee, 1 glass of water for one cup of tea. In order to get better results in your skin, you should include foods that contain a lot of water like cucumbers, pumpkins, green salads, grapefruit, and tomato paste.
4۔ Signs of a gluten intolerance
Keratosis pilaris is a condition that features gooseskin-like bumps that appear on the skin. This condition is mostly harmless but it doesn’t look very good. Aside from using different creams and lotions, the best thing to do is get checked for a gluten intolerance because gluten often causes this skin condition.
